Tracey Emin Paintings

Tracey Emin Paintings is the first in-depth examination of Tracey Emin's paintings. Emin is known for her personal and direct artistic expression, in which her own experiences, feelings, and events form the basis for her works. Inspired by artists such as Egon Schiele and Edvard Munch, she creates figurative paintings that are intense, vulnerable, and emotionally powerful. Throughout her career, she has achieved international acclaim and is today considered one of the most significant contemporary artists.

The book presents more than 300 illustrations of Emin's expressive and gestural paintings from the 1990s to the present day. In addition, it contains a conversation with her close friend David Dawson as well as an essay by the Australian writer Jennifer Higgie.

Produced in close collaboration with the artist, this is the first publication to focus exclusively on Tracey Emin's paintings and provides a unique insight into one of her most significant artistic paths.
