Board – Journal Organizer

Journal Organiser from the Danish design brand Form & Refine is a small, flexible companion for any room in the home. The table is carefully dimensioned so it can be used in many different contexts, for example for kitchen storage, magazine holder, side table, or as a side table in the office. The contrast between the table’s sharp leg profiles and the softly rounded edges of the tabletop creates a distinctive and refined effect. A practical detail is the space between the frame and the tabletop, which provides a convenient place for magazines, newspapers, bottles, oils, or herbs.

Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by the furniture architects behind Herman Studio, Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen, together with director Lasse Lund Lauridsen. The brand strives for their wood waste to be biodegradable and are co-owners of Damsbo Forest on Funen, from which they source wood when the forest’s natural balance allows it. They use the wood for their Danish-produced furniture, ensuring that this entire part of their production – from the first budding seeds to the finished product – takes place in Denmark.

Care
Use a clean, dry cloth, preferably a cotton cloth, for daily cleaning. Avoid scouring sponges or synthetic cloths, as they may cause scratches. Remove dirt with a damp cloth that has been firmly wrung out in clean water. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the furniture. Only use mild soap, and avoid cleaning products containing solvents.
