The lemon bowl by Hanne Bertelsen is handmade and is a nice detail for the table. Use e.g. the lemon bowl for finger salt, nuts, chopped herbs or the obvious one, for lemon boats, when the dish needs an extra touch of sourness.
Hanne Bertelsen makes all ceramics by hand in her workshop in Copenhagen. When the ceramics have to be fired, she does it in a more CO2-friendly way. Naturally, she does not use any harmful substances in production, so where Hanne can make a difference is by making better use of kiln firing, thereby reducing the consumption of electricity. She does this because today she can burn more bowls at the same time than before.
As each lemon bowl is handmade, each and every bowl is unique, and there may therefore be variation in shape, colour, structure and size.
