In 2012, Rodolphe Grosset decided to restart and revive an old beret factory in Laàs in southwestern France. The factory and the surrounding area were once home to several beret workshops that slowly closed one by one. With a desire to preserve traditional craftsmanship that was on the verge of disappearing, Grosset set out to bring together skilled local artisans to teach the next generation about the creation of France's most iconic accessory.
