Lucian Freud – Girl with a Fig Leaf 1947

Exploring the artist's supreme mastery of drawing in all its forms – from pencil, pen, and ink to charcoal and etching on paper – the show also highlights the special dialogue between Freud's drawings and his painting.

A carefully selected group of important paintings reveals the dynamic relationship between his work on paper and on canvas. Together with archival research and previously unseen material, Lucian Freud – All Is Portrait will also include works that are being shown publicly for the first time.
