Making Space

Making Space presents 250 women in interior design from the early 20th century to the present day, from over 50 countries. The book shows how women have shaped interior design and the built environment, from pioneers like Elsie de Wolfe and Dorothy Draper to contemporary designers like Kelly Wearstler. It highlights a wide spectrum of styles – from maximalism to minimalism – and makes room for both well-known and overlooked designers.
