Book Stand

Created in collaboration with Pinguin Books to mark their 90th anniversary, the Book Stand from Danish design brand Moebe is a tribute to books and the role they play in our everyday lives. It is flexible in use and can keep your current reading open on the page you last read, support a single volume upright or act as bookends when used in pairs.

Moebe was founded in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinetmaker, Anders Thams. All their designs are developed from their studio workshop on Amager in Copenhagen. With each design, they aim to create intelligently engineered, high-quality products that not only function optimally and look beautiful, but also inspire people to live with fewer distractions and become part of a growing movement of people who value honesty, simplicity and the desire for “less”.
