Anti-reflective framing with the work Naturaleza muerta resucitando (Still Life Resuscitating), 1963, by the surrealist Spanish-Mexican painter Remedios Varo. The poster is delivered pre-framed with a matte laminated surface that significantly reduces reflections from light sources compared to ordinary glass, providing a beautiful, calm visual expression without glare. The frame is made of oak veneer.
Remedios Varo, who declared that "the world of dreams and the real world are the same," sought to combine vastly different techniques, fantasies, and ideas in an almost alchemical way in her paintings, which have an enigmatic, cinematic character and often incorporate hybrid creatures.
She utilized the chance-based processes of surrealism, yet was incredibly precise, meticulous, and classical in her painterly expression and color scheme, which has clear references to Italian painting from the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance.
