Louisiana Poster with the work Cowboy by the American artist Richard Prince, published in connection with the exhibition Louisiana New Works (2025). The exhibition presents a large selection of the many new works that Louisiana has acquired over the past few years for the collection between 2022-2025. The exhibition presents more than 120 works by over 70 artists from around the world.

Richard Prince (b. 1949) is a key figure in the US's so-called Picture Generation. He rephotographs glossy magazine advertisements with sofas, photo models, biker girls – or the American man, as the cigarette brand Marlboro has defined him: Here tightly cropped by Prince's camera, held together with tape, open to new interpretation.
