Postcard - Shara Hughes - Collide 2022

Louisiana Postcard with the work Collide by the American artist Shara Hughes, published in connection with the exhibition Louisiana New Works (2025). The exhibition presents a large selection of the many new works that Louisiana has acquired over the past few years for the collection between 2022-2025. The exhibition presents more than 120 works by about 70 artists from around the world. Shara Hughes (b. 1981) uses a variety of techniques and references art history in an equilibrist way in her brightly colored paintings, and is particularly recognized for her invented landscapes.
