Scarf Small classic

Scarf, small classical, in a thick soft silk twill with a matte surface from the Danish design brand Tapis Noir. The print originates from 18th century France and is a "chintz" textile. Tapis Noir has the original textile in their collection of antique fabrics.

Tapis Noir was founded in 2020 by Mads Lehn Kruse, who combines his knowledge and experience as an art director with his personal interest in interiors and antique textiles in Tapis Noir. As a collector of rare textile documents, he reinterprets them in a contemporary context, where woven textures are digitally translated while tapestries and old wall panels are transformed into silk in harmony with Lehn Kruse's own warp prints.
