The Wagenfeld table lamp from Tecnolumen is one of the most well-known and popular lamps from the Bauhaus period, and was designed in 1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. The timeless classic is also known as the Bauhaus light, and consists of a round, clear glass base, a glass rod with a nickel-plated 10 mm tube and a dome-shaped, hand-blown opal glass shade.

Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900-1990) is considered one of the most important industrial designers of his time for his designs in glass and metal. He was accepted into the world-famous Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany, where he created his first table lamp - the design icon, the Wagenfeld lamp.
